Tauschek, Gustav#

b. Vienna, April 29, 1899, d. Zurich (Switzerland), Feb. 14, 1945, inventor. As autodidact, acquired more than 200 patents, especially for his constructions of punch-card accounting, counting and calculating machines. IBM purchased and exploited 168 of his patents.
