!!!Aussiedlung

Resettlement (German: Aussiedlung): a) term for the expulsion of
German people from the successor states of the monarchy, agreed upon
in the Potsdam Conference in 1945. Resettlement began as early as May
1945, people came mainly from Bohemia and Moravia, Slovakia, Hungary
and Yugoslavia to Austria. The majority were deported to Germany,
approximately 240,000 were made Austrian citizens.

\\
b) Resettlement of business enterprises from the densely built-up
urban core areas to peripheral areas or newly created commercial and
industrial areas. The reasons for this are mostly environmental
regulations and difficult transport connections.
