Bad Fischau-Brunn, Lower Austria, market town in the district of 
Wiener Neustadt, alt. 288 m, pop. 2,502, area 20.60 km%%sup 2/%, 
spa town at the edge of the Steinfeld lowlands, lies along the  
Thermenlinie. Thermal spa (18° C, treatment of rheumatism, 
drinking cures), popular destination for day trips, health tourism, 
gravel production, beverage industry; documented 1130, first bathing 
centre 1871-1873, parish church (renovated 1798) and palace 
(12%%sup th/%  century, renovated 1728 and 1830); Eisenstein cave and 
cave museum.
