!!!Berzeviczy-Pallavicini, Federico

b. Lausanne (Switzerland), April 12, 1909, 
d. New York (USA), Nov. 11, 1989, painter and graphic artist, interior 
and set designer. From 1926 studied at the Vienna School of Arts and 
Crafts. 1933-1938 window decorations for the confectioner's  Demel, 
set designs, designs for the  Porzellanmanufaktur Augarten porcelain 
company. 1936 married Anna Demel's niece, 1938 emigrated to Italy and 
worked for different magazines with personalities such as L. Visconti, 
G. de Chirico and V. de Sica. From 1945 lived as an art director and 
interior designer in the USA; 1956 redesigned the Cafe Demel which 
passed into his ownership in 1965 and which he managed until 1972. In 
addition undertook the redecoration of the Demel windows, which were 
widely known for their interesting design.
