!!!Birnlücke

Birnluecke Pass (dialect: "Birnluckn"), alt. 2,665 m, pass across the 
western end of the Hohe Tauern mountains, connects the Krimmler valley 
(Salzburg) with the Ahrn valley (South Tyrol) and therefore also the 
Salzach valley and Puster valley (Val Pusteria) via a footpath. Since 
1919, the Birnluecke pass has constituted the Austrian-Italian border.
