b. Vienna, Feb. 25, 1861, 
d. Klosterneuburg (Lower Austria), Feb. 20, 1927, graphic artist and 
painter. Studies at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, founder 
member of the Vienna  Secession. Developed a very distinctive 
floral-decorative style of painting, also worked as a commercial 
artist; taught at the Vienna School of Applied Arts from 1910-1925.

Decorative-abstract graphic work; glass windows for the villa 
of O. Wagner in Huetteldorf (Vienna), 1899. Ceramics, furniture.
