Breitenlee#

Breitenlee, village in the western Marchfeld (largest plain in Lower Austria), since 1938 part of the 22nd district of Vienna. Developed around 1700 (church built in 1699). Farming estate of the Iro-Scottish monks in Vienna, destroyed in 1529, resettled after 1694, cemetery of the Scots after 1784, damaged during the battle at Aspern (part of the 22nd district of Vienna).
