Burgstaller, Ernst#
b. Ried im Innkreis (Upper Austria), May 29, 1906, folklorist, from 1964 at the University of Graz, after 1968 in Linz. Co-author of the Volkskundeatlas, Oesterreichischer and editor of the Atlas of Upper Austria; 1966-1971 head of the Institute of Upper Austrian Studies, founded in 1939 the Museum of Austrian Bakery in Ried im Innkreis (since 1984 in the Burgmuseum in Wels) and in 1979 the Austrian Rock Paintings Museum in Spital an der Pyhrn.
