Busta, Christine eigentlich C. Dimt#

b. Vienna, April 23, 1914, d. Vienna, Dec. 3, 1987, poet, writer of children's books. 1950-1975 librarian in Vienna, used simple lyric forms in her poems. B. represented a kind of non-dogmatic Catholicism; placed emphasis on coping with suffering in her writings. Grand Austrian State Prize 1969, Austrian Decoration for Science and Art 1981.
