Casa de Austria#
Casa de Austria (Domus Austriae, Casa d´Austria, Maison d´Autriche): expression that refers to all the Habsburg territories and the dynasty as a whole; commonly used from the 15th century (first documented mention 1306); also used as a substitute for a comprehensive title (still used in 1804, when the Empire of Austria was proclaimed), subsequently lost its historical significance.
