Cieslar, Adolf#

b. Blogotitz (Cieszyn, Poland) Sept. 25, 1858, d. July 14, 1934, forestry expert. Studied in Vienna, where he embarked on his scientific career. From 1905 Professor of Forestry Production at the Hochschule fuer Bodenkultur (now University of Agricultural Sciences). His scientific work focused in particular on the genetics of forest trees.
