Deinhard-Deinhardstein, Johann Ludwig (pseudonym: Dr. Roemer), 
b. Vienna, June 21, 1794 (?), d. Vienna, July 12, 1859. 
Dramatist, poet, narrative writer, critic and Imperial Court official. 
From 1827 teacher of aesthetics at the diplomatic academy 
"Theresianum" in Vienna; 1829-1849 editor-in-charge of the literary 
annual "Jahrbuecher der Litteratur" in Vienna; 1832-1841 literary 
manager and assistant head of the Hofburgtheater (appointed by C. 
Laroche, C. Enghaus, as successor to J.  Schreyvogel); 1841-1848 
censor for the Imperial police and censorship bureau; also wrote 
character comedies and artist dramas.
