Deutelmoser, Ferdinand, b. Plzen, Czech Republic (then Pilsen), 
March 6, 1875, d. Vienna, Jan. 14, 1941. General and aviation 
expert; after 1912 was one of the best military pilots, from 1914 to 
1918 led air corps; after 1918 became head of the Austrian aviation 
authority, pioneered civilian aviation in Austria; Director General of 
Austrian Airlines.
