Deuticke, Franz, Verlag Ges. m. b. H, publishing and book-selling house with main focus on scientific works and school books, founded in 1878 by Franz Deuticke (1850-1919) and Stanislaus Toeplitz. Since 1980 it has been a subsidiary of the Austrian Bundesverlag with emphasis on contemporary Austrian literature and popularised scientific documentation. Among its recent publications are the complete writings of H. Qualtinger and an annotated edition of the complete works of N. Lenau and J. Nestroy. Since 1997 the Perlenreihe series has been an integral part of the house's publications.
