Dietrich, Baron Josef of Dietrichsberg, b. Vienna, 1780, d. Vienna, July 21, 1855. Owner of large wagon transport enterprise, theatre lover and benefactor. D. was ennobled for his services to the army during the Napoleonic Wars. From 1837 ran a small theatre in his home in the Wieden district of Vienna and promoted theatres in the outer districts of Vienna. P>
