b. Vienna, May 27, 1885, 
d. Vienna, Nov. 7, 1966, teacher of etiquette; originally a regular 
officer in the army and riding teacher, 1919 founded a dance school in 
Vienna, then shortly after an affiliated school in Berlin; organised 
the "Vienna City Ball" as well as other high-society balls from 1935, 
including the Opera Ball in Vienna; leading advisor in questions of 
etiquette and manners.
