!!!Euthanasie

Euthanasia, originally a philosophical term (Stoicism), meaning that a
person whose life has become "not worth living" due to illness or
debility has the right to commit suicide. Under National Socialism,
the term was misused in the sense of "extermination of unworthy life",
where mainly mentally ill, epileptics and senile people were murdered.
One of the places where euthanasia was practised by the National
Socialists was Hartheim Castle (municipality Alkoven, Upper Austria),
where a sanatorium for the mentally ill was located from 1898-1945.
