Faaker See, Lake, Carinthia, alt. 555 m, 2.2 km long and 1.7 km wide, 30 m deep, in summer water temperature can reach up to 25°C. Lake Faaker See, situated at the foot of the Mittagskogel mountain (alt. 2,145 m) is the smallest of the most well-known Carinthian lakes; a hotel is located on Lake Faaker See island. The Seebach stream runs from Lake Faaker See to the River Gail. Other villages suited for tourists and situated close to Lake Faaker See are Drobollach und Egg.
