Fabry, Joseph Peter (real name: Joseph Epstein), b. Vienna, 
Nov. 6, 1909, d. El Cerrito (USA), May 7, 1999, author, 
translator. Studied law; 1931-1938 published over 200 short stories 
with M.  Knight under the pseudonym Peter Fabrizius. 1938 emigrated to 
the USA; worked for the Office of War Information and the radio 
station "Voice of America". His study of the works of V.  
Frankl led him to become a teacher of psychology; established the 
Viktor Frankl Institute of Logotherapy in Abilene, Texas. In the USA 
he collaborated again with M. Knight; translated the works of numerous 
Austrian authors into English; published a joint autobiography with 
Knight.
