!!!Fichtner, Carl Albrecht

b. Coburg (Germany), June 7, 1805, 
d. Bad Gastein (Salzburg Province), Aug. 19, 1873, actor. In 1824 was 
called to the Vienna Burgtheater by J.  Schreyvogel and was a member 
of the theatre from 1824-1865. He achieved great success in 
conversation pieces and as a character actor in classic parts. From 
1841 he also worked as a stage director. Under H.  Laube, the managing 
director of the Burgtheater, F. and his wife Elisabeth F.-Koberwein 
(1809-1887) contributed considerably to the success of the theatre.
