b. Vienna, Oct. 9, 1887, 
d. Vienna Jan. 19, 1969, singer (soprano). At first sang in variety 
theatres, later at the Raimundtheater. 

Fischer, who was Jewish, emigrated to Luxembourg in 1933, where she continued to appear. In 1947 she returned to Vienna

For more than 20 years she worked with H.  Marischka. 
Became famous for her parts in operettas such as "Die lustige 
Witwe", "Hoheit tanzt Walzer", "Rose von Stambul" and 
"Graefin Mariza".
