!!!Fokolar-Bewegung Werk Mariens

Focolare-Movement ("Work of the Virgin Mary"); catholic-ecumenical 
community founded by Chiara Lubich (b. Jan. 22, 1920) in Trento 
(Italy) in 1943. In 1962 the movement was universally recognized by 
the Church and became known all over the world. It also comprises a 
movement of young people, known as "Gen". The movement was introduced 
in Austria in 1962 and has centres in Vienna, Linz, Graz and 
Innsbruck, as well as the "Mariapolis" Centre in Wien-Mauer (since 
1994).
