Fonds#

Fund, assets, as opposed to an endowment ( Foundations, Law of) are not necessarily invested permanently. In addition to private funds, set up by private persons on the basis of the relevant federal or provincial laws, there are numerous administrative funds. Of these, some merely take the forms of budget items (Family Burdens Equalisation Fund), while others have the status of a legal entity (e.g. Research Fund). The Agrarmarkt Austria is an exception in that it is a fund with the status of an authority.
