Frey, Erik, b. Vienna, March 1, 1908,
d. Vienna, Sept. 2, 1988, actor, Kammerschauspieler. From 1927 at
the Deutsches Volkstheater in Vienna and in Bremen, Hamburg, Berlin
and Prague. Was a member of the company of the Theater in der
Josefstadt in Vienna from 1935 until his death. Acted several times at
the Salzburg Festival and also worked in the film industry from 1936
(more than 130 productions, including "Burgtheater", 1936).
