b. Graz (Styria), July 26, 1833, 
d. Klagenfurt (Carinthia), Sept. 29, 1903, actress, singer. Daughter 
of Russian Court actors, 1844 children's roles in Graz, 1850 debut in 
Munich, 1852 at the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, afterwards in 
Berlin, Hamburg and Riga; Engaged by F.  Strampfer at the Theater an 
der Wien in 1865, where she was artistic director together with M.  
Steiner from 1869-1875; in Leipzig for 3 years; from 1881-1884 seven 
tours of the USA; last performance in Oedenburg in 1888; a versatile 
artist: prima donna of operettas (J. Offenbach, J. Strauss), actress 
in popular plays (L. Anzengruber) and tragedies (Maria Stuart, Medea, 
Iphigenie, Elisabeth, Sappho).
