Gruenbaum, Fritz, b. Brno, Czech Republic (then Bruenn), April 7, 1880, 
d. Dachau concentration camp (Germany), Jan. 14, 1941, comedian, 
actor, dancer, producer, author; In 1906 first performance in the 
Viennese cabaret "Die Hoelle", from 1907 in Berlin, from 1914 back in 
Vienna; artistic director of the revue "Simpl", where he developed the 
"Doppelconference" ("cabaret duet" or dialogue between 2 cabaret 
entertainers) with K.  Farkas, director of several smaller Viennese 
theatres; founded the "Boulevard-Theater" in 1927; arrested in 1938.

Willner); Der Liebeswalzer, 1908 (with R. Bodanzky); Die
