Gruenfeld, Alfred, b. Prague (Czech Republic), July 4, 1852, 
d. Vienna, Jan. 4, 1924, pianist and composer. Lived in Vienna 
most of his life, numerous concert tours abroad; renowned for the 
performance of his "concert paraphrases" of Strauss waltzes 
("Fruehlingsstimmenwalzer" was dedicated to him).
