Greinz, Rudolf, b. Pradl near Innsbruck (Tyrol), Aug. 16, 1866, 
d. Innsbruck, Aug. 16, 1942, narrative writer, brother of Hugo  
Greinz. Author of popular novels, humorous sketches and stories about 
life in villages and small towns in the tradition of Tyrolean peasant 
poetry. His most successful novel, "Allerseelen" (1910) has been 
reprinted to this day.
