the Wipptal valley, at the opening of the Obernbergtal valley, on the 
Brennerstrasse road and motorway. - Customs office and customs police; 
production of machinery and industrial equipment, wood-processing 
industry (4 sawmills). - Late Classicist parish church (1823-1826); 
Late Gothic-Baroque parish church in Vinaders; St Jakob Chapel 
(endowed in 1305) in Noesslach with Late Gothic winged altar (around 
1490, altered in 1690); Gothic chapel Am Lueg; 1287-1809 fortified 
customs post. Lake Brenner and St. Antonius springs near Gries am 
Brenner.
