!!!Guschlbauer, Theodor

b. Vienna, April 14, 1939, conductor. Studied piano and violoncello, 
then studied conducting under H.  Swarowsky. First worked at the 
Vienna Volksoper and at the Salzburg Landestheater, from 1969 musical 
director of the opera in Lyons, 1975-1983 Director General of Music in 
Linz, 1983-1997 head conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique de 
Strasbourg, since 1997 chief music director of the State Philharmonic 
of Rheinland-Pfalz in Ludwigshafen. Conducts at all the major opera 
houses in Europe and at international festivals (Salzburg, Linz, 
Verona, Montreux, Aix-en-Provence etc.). Regular guest performances at 
the Vienna State Opera and the Hamburg State Opera.
