Haas, Ernst, b. Vienna, March 2, 1921, d. New York (USA), Sept. 12, 1986, photographer, assignments for "Magnum", "Life", "Look" and "Holiday"; became world famous for his photographs of the first Austrians returning from Soviet captivity after World War II.
