b. Vienna, Jan. 26, 1909, d. Vienna, Sept. 28, 1957, publisher;
father of Ernst Wolfram Marboe and Peter Marboe. From 1945 head of
the Culture Department of the Federal Press Agency and from 1953 in
charge of the Federal Theatre Administration. 1949 founder and
managing director of the weekly issue of the "Austria-Wochenschau"
newsreel.
