!!!Miller, Martin auch M. Mühler

b. Vienna, April 28, 1769, 
d. St. Aegyd am Neuwalde (Lower Austria), April 21, 1833, 
metallurgist. In England was trained in the process of casting in 
crucibles, in 1799 began manufacturing clocks in Vienna, 1804 
established crucible cast steel works in Vienna and after 1825 with 
Daniel  Fischer in St. Aegyd. These were taken over by his sons Martin 
and Lorenz M. and in 1918 sold to the Boehler company ( 
Boehler-Werke), between 1946-1955 run by USIA, later by VEW 
(Federation of Austrian Power Stations). The eldest son of the 
founder, Franz Matthias M., took over the works in Vienna and in 1869 
established in Traismauer a plant for the manufacture of steel 
saw-blades.
