Moretti, Tobias#
Moretti, Tobias, b. Innsbruck (Tirol), July 11, 1959, actor. From 1978 studied composition in Vienna; from 1980 studied acting in Munich. 1984-1985 member of the Bayrisches Staatsschauspiel (Bavarian State Drama Group) in Munich; since 1986 member of the Muenchner Kammerspiele (Munich Chamber Theatre); guest appearances e.g. in Vienna at the Burgtheater and the Theater in der Josefstadt. 1994-1997 achieved popularity in the role of Detective Moser in the television series "Kommissar Rex". Numerous awards: 1999 Grimme Prize for the film "Krambambuli" (1998), 2001 the "Romy" award for the most popular actor in Austria.
