Rollett, (Georg) Anton, b. Aug. 2, 1778,
d. Baden (Lower Austria), March 19, 1842, collector, naturalist,
physician, grandfather of Alexander Rollett, uncle of Hermann
Rollett. His extensive collection was donated to the town of Baden in
1867 (R. Museum); it contains among other things: a herbarium (more
than 14,000 plant species), archaeological, ethnographical,
technological and art collections, mineralogical, botanical and
zoological objects as well as Gall´s phrenological collection of
skulls and busts.
