Tragwein#

Tragwein, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Freistadt, alt. 491 m, pop. 2,854, area 39.49 km2, situated in the southern Muehlviertel region. - Educational centre of the Marianist order, youth centre; wood and metal working, plastics industry. - Late Gothic parish church with Romanesque parts and abundant net and stellar vaults. Statue of the Virgin Mary (around 1800).
