Clearly signed by him for an autograph collector. This card is in my possession and its authenticity vouched for by the reputable autograph dealer from whom it was purchased. | The Austrian composer, conductor and clarinetist, Franz Salmhofer 1900-1975.| Scanned from a souvenir card with a photograph and the signature of Salmhofer. Clearly signed by him for an autograph collector. This card is owned by me and its authenticity vouched for by the reputable autograph dealer from whom it was purchased. The card is dated in Salmhofer's own handwriting,16 October 1953 so the photograph dates from earlier than that date, but judging by the youthfulness of the image and when compared to other photos of Salmhofer in the mid-1950s, the photo was probably taken when was in his early to mid-30s, ie: around 1935.
