The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine [{GoogleMap location='29.892955,-81.311851' zoom='10'}] is a historic cathedral and the seat of the Catholic Bishop of St. Augustine. It is located between Charlotte and St. George Street at Cathedral Street. It is the oldest church in Florida and was originally established in 1565, constructed from 1793 to 1797 and designated a U.S. National Historic Landmark on April 15, 1970. The cathedral's eclectic facade is a combination of Spanish mission and Neoclassical styles.
