The [Maryhill Museum|http://www.maryhillmuseum.org] was orinially built by Samuel Hill as war memorial. It is more or less "in the middle of nowhere" [{GoogleMap location='ryhill Museum, Maryhill Museum Drive, Goldendale, WA, United States' zoom='10'}] a bit North of Comlumbia Gorge on a hill with a good view of the Columbia river, and more or less en route to Osoyoos at the border USA- Canada. Before reaching the border the statehighwway 20 turns to the West, passing through Winthrop. We will show a bit of Winthrop and Highways 20 on the following pages.

Das [Maryhill Museum|http://www.maryhillmuseum.org] wurde ursprünglich als Kriegsdenkmal von Samuel Hill gebaut. Es liegt mehr oder minder "the middle of nowhere" 
[{GoogleMap location='ryhill Museum, Maryhill Museum Drive, Goldendale, WA, United States' zoom='10'}]kurz nördlich des Columbia Gorges auf einer Anhöhe mit herrlichem Blick auf den Columbia River, und mehr oder minder am Weg nach Osoyoos an der Grenze US-Kanada. Vor der Grenze zweigt der Highway 20 ab, an dem Winthrop liegt, von welchem Ort und der Straße nach Westen getrennt berichtet wird.
