Looking back into they valley#

The abbey is located, as mentioned before, on the slopes of Pic du Canigou.

This is the easternmost significant peak of the the Pyrenees.

With an altitude of 2785 it was considered to be the highest mountain of Catalonia for a long time, but is now part of the Pyrenees National park in France.
