Montpellier Montpellier, France with over 500.000 people is the 8th largest city of France, and is also the fastest growing city in the country over the past 25 years.

Nearly one third of the population is made of students from the multiple universities in the city.

Located on the south coast of France on the Mediterranean Sea, it is the third-largest French city on the Mediterranean coast after Marseille and Nice.

Montpellier is one of the oldest cities in France and has a traditional center, yet the new city government has added a sector with super-modern architecture of which three photos are shown.
