The Big Prespa Lake [{GoogleMap location='Prespa Lake' zoom='11' title='Big Prespa Lake'}] was formed by a displacement of tectonic plates about a million of years ago and therefore is one of the oldest lakes in Europe, half the size of the Lake Constance and up to 55 m deep.
