Cathedral Santa Maria. The Cathedral of Seville (Santa María de la Sede) is the seat of the bishop of the archdiocese Seville in Seville. It is the largest existing Gothic cathedral, and as such one of the biggest churches of the world. It was built 1401–1519, has been under monument-protection since 1928 and belongs to the UNESCO world heritage objects since 1987. It is 115 m long and 76 m wide. The hight of the middle aisle is 42 m. The church has five aisles. It was built on the foundations fo the arabic Mezquita Mayor from the 12 th century. The cathedral houses many exceptional sculptures and such, including a tomb for Christopher Columbus erected in 1902.

Kathedrale Santa Maria. Die Kathedrale von Sevilla (Santa María de la Sede) ist die Bischofskirche des Erzbistums Sevilla in Sevilla. Sie ist die größte existierende gotische Kirchen und eine der größten Kirchen der Welt. Sie wurde 1401–1519 erbaut, steht seit 1928 unter Denkmalschutz und gehört seit 1987 zum Weltkulturerbe der UNESCO. Ihre Länge beträgt 115 m, ihre Breite 76 m. Die Höhe des mittleren Kirchenschiffes beträgt 42 m, insgesamt besitzt die Kathedrale fünf Kirchenschiffe. Sie wurde auf den Überresten der im 12. Jahrhundert errichteten arabischen Mezquita Mayor errichtet. In der Kathedrale befindet sich neben prachtvollen Grabplastiken des Mittelalters auch das 1902 errichtete Grabmal für Christoph Kolumbus.
