!!!Ödenburger Gebirge

Oedenburg Mountains (also called Brennberg hill country), province of 
Burgenland, forested hill country marked by gneiss and mica slate 
formations (alt. up to 553 m), eastward extension of 
Rosaliengebirge Mountains from Sieggraben to Oedenburg (Sopron); 
separates northern Burgenland from central Burgenland and constitutes 
the Austro-Hungarian national border in the central and eastern parts 
of the province; brown coal deposits (on Austrian territory, only the 
abandoned Helenenschacht mine).
