ARBOe, Auto-, Motor- und Radfahrerbund Oesterreich, (Automobile, 
Motorcycle and Bicycle Club of Austria) founded 1899 in Vienna as the 
"Verband der Arbeiter-Radfahrer-Vereine Oesterreichs" (Association of 
Workers' Bicycling Clubs of Austria). Now a service organisation 
active throughout Austria in technical, legal and tourist affairs. 95 
inspection centres, 200 roadside emergency support vehicles and tow 
trucks, 550 employees. The tasks and objectives of the ARBOe are: 
consumer protection, insurance advisory services, safe driving courses 
and road traffic safety work as well as organisation of national and 
international bicycling and motor sports events.
