ASTRA, "Adaptierter Schwimmbecken-Typ-Reaktor Austria", research 
reactor constructed in 1960 near Seibersdorf (Lower Austria) for 
research and materials testing. Its neutron and gamma radiation is 
used for various experiments and for producing radioisotopes.  Nuclear 
Energy.
