!!!Abt
Abbot: head of a monastery in Catholic orders (Benedictine,
Cistercian, Premonstratensian). The provosts of Augustinian canons are
also abbots. Elected for life by the convention, the abbot has
jurisdiction over the members of the monastery as well as the right to
hold pontifical mass, and he is exempt (not subordinate to any
bishop).
