!!!Accordino Accordino (Italian for "small agreement"): a regional agreement concluded in 1949 by Austria and Italy on the basis of the Gruber-De Gasperi Agreement (Paris Agreement) to facilitate the trading of goods between the Austrian provinces of Tyrol and Vorarlberg on the one hand and the Trentino / South Tyrol region on the other. The Agreement was intended to mitigate the disadvantages brought about for the inhabitants of this area by its political separation in 1918, and to preserve the traditional flow of trade. The agreement allows unlimited import and export of agricultural products; processed goods are exempt from customs duties. Beyond that, the Commercial Law Amendment of 1992 facilitated cross-border commercial services. %%language [Back to the Austrian Version|AEIOU/Accordino|class='wikipage austrian'] %% [{FreezeArticle author='AEIOU' template='Lexikon_1995_englisch'}] [{ALLOW view All}][{ALLOW comment All}][{ALLOW edit FreezeAdmin}]
