alt. 422 m, pop. 1,379, area 17.20 km%%sup 2/%, between the 
Steyr and Krems Valleys. - Timber processing, mills, oldest pilgrimage 
destination in Upper Austria (esp. frequented in the 17th and 18th 
centuries), parish church with Baroque high altar (1663).
