b. Pola, Croatia (then Pula), July 1, 1907, 
d. Voitsberg (Styria), Dec. 22, 1994, painter and graphic artist, 
member of the  Hagenbund (artists´ association), of the Graz and 
Vienna  Secession. His paintings showed great stylistic versatility, 
from the realistic to the informal with a tendency towards abstraction 
from 1930.
